Dancers will get a chance to participate in:
Every summer, we host a summer camp at our studio for dancers of all ages.
- Dance workshops
- Classes with guest teachers
- Specialized workouts
- Competition simulations
- Games
The camps are available to any students regardless of level. Attendance is flexible; we recommend participating in the entire program to gain the maximum benefit; however, partial attendance will also provide lots of different activities and the potential to grow as dancers.

- International Dance Camp (all ages) August 15th-17th

Children's Day Camp 2025
- August 11th - 15th - Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Camp Tuition is payable no later than April 1st.
- Full session (5 days) – $650/student - includes all classes, workshops, practice sessions, and a healthy breakfast.
- One day pass: $150/student
- Class pass: $40/class
Visiting coaches will be available for private lessons on the day they are scheduled for camp.

Children’s camp will include the following classes and activities:
Stretch and workout, standard/Latin technique, fun choreography, nutrition and music, team building games, workshops with world-class coaches, breakfast that we prepare/clean up together, and a dance movie.
A healthy breakfast is included in the tuition; however, feel free to send in snacks if needed.
All Ages International Camp 2025
- August 15th - 17th - Friday through Sunday

Camp Tuition is payable no later than April 1st.
- Full session (3 days) – $450/student - includes all classes, workshops, dance sessions, nutrition/conditioning (about 4-5 classes per day), and shared notes.
- One day pass: $180/student
- Class pass: $40/class

Each coach will have a theme that their workshop will be based on. The themes are elements of competitive ballroom dancing that lead to top performance: patterns, technique, physical strength, mental strength, outfits, stress management, nutrition, and breathing techniques.
This is a great opportunity for dancers of all ages and levels to meet world-class coaches and hear what they have to say about their journey. The knowledge of these coaches will be concentrated in a weekend. It is a lot; you will need a notebook to revisit information.
Each coach will also be available for private lessons.
Our Guest Teachers
Andrea Zaramella
Born in the small city of Brindisi in the south of Italy, Andrea was born to be a leader. He started dancing at the age of 5 and was competing all over the world by the age of 14.
Some of his most outstanding achievements are:
Vice and Runner Up in World Youth Championship – Five – time undefeated Italian Ballroom Champion – Blackpool Dance Festival finalist and runner-up – UK Rising Star Professional Ballroom Champion – USA Dance Adjudicator A+ B+ C+ D+ – ANMB Certified Adjudicator (Recognized WDC) – Certified WDC International Adjudicator for Italy
He currently teaches, coaches, and choreographs for top competitive students, amateur and professional couples. He is a very successful Pro/Am competitor in the NDCA circuit. Additionally, he produces and manages shows and dance competitions in the US and Europe.
Andrea is the founder of Tomorrow’s Champions Foundation, which is a 501c3 charitable organization that provides ballroom dance education and lessons for children with disabilities with the goal of improving their future. Dance truly has the power to create an impact on everyone.
Additionally, Andrea is a loving family man to his young son and wife.
Mariam Izmaylova
Mariam started dancing at the age of 6 in Tyumen, Russia. Became a regional champion in Latin and standard many times. She was a finalist and the winner of countless competitions in the country and all around the world. She started teaching at the age of 13.
Mariam moved to the US in the age of 19, to continue dance career.
In 2008 she won the first title as the US National Amateur Ballroom Champion in NDCA and USA Dance federations, and she was undefeated for 3 years.
She won multiple events around the country and the world and became World Cup IDSF semifinalist.
During her dance career she was also coaching many national champions in ballroom, Latin, and Smooth.
After turning Professional, she continued to succeed and became a finalist and winner of many Professional and Professional RS events in the USA and abroad. She even made the final in the famous UK Professional RS Ballroom championships.
She continues coaching now in all styles.
Charlotte Jorgensen
Charlotte was born in Denmark and presently resides in Boston.
She has numerous world and European titles such as Danish, Scandinavian and European Ballroom Dance Champion, World Amateur Ballroom Champion, British Professional Rising Star Ballroom Champion, and 2nd in the World Professional Ballroom Championship.
She also trained Actor Richard Gere for the movie “Shall We Dance,” as well as was partner, choreographer, and coach to John O’Hurley on Dancing With The Stars.
Helle Rusholt
Helle started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dancing school in Aalborg, Denmark. Growing up she trained in Ballroom, Tap, Ballet and Jazz. At the age of 17 she joined the performing group at her dancing school and did her first big tour in Thailand. Since then she has toured 3 times in Thailand, Kenya and across Europe.
In 1994 she moved to London, England to concentrate purely on Latin American dancing and trained with some of the best coaches in the world. In 1998 she turned Professional. In May 2000 after nearly 7 years in London she moved to Boston to teach Ballroom dancing. She taught at a local dance studio, at MIT and at Harvard. In January 2002 Helle joined Burn The Floor and went on tour in USA, Australia and Japan.
Her results include: South of England Champion, Danish Championship Finalist, UK Rising Star Finalist, Celtic Classic Finalist, Danish Representative in the Worlds and European Championship, Quarterfinalist at the International Championships in London, England.
In addition. Helle currently coaches the Boston University Ballroom Dance Team, UCONN Ballroom Dance Team, and the Tufts Ballroom Dance Team.
Mercedes (Didi) Von Deck
Didi Von Deck as a Ballroom dancer with her partner, she represented the United States at 7 World Championships and were the first US representatives to the World Games. They were 5-time, undefeated US senior standard champions and were 3-time Open British (Blackpool) finalists.
The love of dance may have been pivotal in her decision to become an orthopedic surgeon. Didi has an active orthopedic practice at the Cambridge Health Alliance.
Didi is also a certified yoga teacher.
Júlio Santos
Júlio Santos is a Brazilian Percussionist from São Paulo and based in Boston-MA. Graduated in 2016 from Berklee College of Music, Julio works as teacher at Saint Anthony School, Everett-MA, and as music artist for YAMA (Young Audience of Massachusetts). Júlio participated in some Brazilian and Latin jazz albums with musicians such as Wendy Rolfe, Fernando Brandão, Flavio Lira and recorded an awarded children album with Sulinha Boucher’s “Sulinha Trio”. With the trio Julio performs weekly in libraries around Boston in this thrilling project focused in children’s cognitive development in interactive performances. Júlio also works on his own projects called Grupo Camarote (a Brazilian Band that sings also in English and Spanish) and lead Beat and Groove Club (A percussive drumming group).
He performs in New England area and have accompanied artists in the U.S such as Alcione, Marcos Valle, Neguinho da Beija-Flor, Dudu Nobre, Leandro Lehart etc. In Brazil Julio Graduated at Souza Lima College, went to Rosas de Ouro Samba School and was part of the before/after school program Called Menino’s do Morumbi where he started as student and then became music instructor. More than 5.000 Children of all ages went to Meninos do Morumbi to learn music as a tool against the poverty and social exclusion. Celebrities such as Former President George W. Bush, Madonna, John Mayer and more went to visit the successful program.
